What is this tool?
Floorplan 3D is a home layout design tool that lives in a single web page. You arrange furniture on a 2D floor plan, edit walls and measure rooms, then switch to a full 3D view of the same home — bird's-eye, angled, or a first-person walkthrough. There is nothing to install and no account to create: the editor opens in your browser and your design is stored locally in your browser, not on our servers.
Main features
- 2D floor plan editing at true scale (1:60 / 1:100), with dimensions in millimetres
- A library of 60+ furniture and appliance items you can drag, rotate and resize
- Edit non-load-bearing walls, with load-bearing walls clearly marked
- One-click 3D scene: multiple viewing angles, room fly-to, and a first-person walkthrough mode (WASD + mouse on desktop, virtual joystick on touch screens)
- Daylight slider and night lighting, full-height or cutaway walls
- Automatic room-area and usable-area calculation, plus flooring material cost estimates
- Export your design as a PNG image, or export/import it as JSON
- 2D floor plan to 3D converter: upload a floor plan image and turn it into an editable 3D plan
- Interface available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese
