The service
Floorplan 3D is a free online floor plan editor and 2D-to-3D converter, provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued, without notice. Fair-use limits apply to the free AI room detection (a few runs per visitor per day).
Software license and your designs
The editor is a hosted build of the open-source floorplan-3d project, released under the MIT License, which permits commercial use of the software. Your own floor plans and designs belong to you; we claim no rights over them.
Acceptable use
Use the tool for lawful purposes. Only upload floor plans that you own or have the right to use. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass its usage limits, or use it to infringe anyone's rights.
Accuracy — read before you build
Plans created or converted on this site are design drafts. Measurements depend on the scale you set, and AI room detection is an automated estimate that can misread walls, rooms and openings. Always verify dimensions on site and consult a qualified professional before construction, renovation, or ordering materials. Floorplan 3D is not a substitute for professional architectural or engineering documents.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this site or from decisions based on plans created with it.
Changes and contact
Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the site means you accept them. Questions can be sent through the Feedback button on the editor page.
